It’s a wrap! We wanted to take a minute to reflect on a transformative year for Bridgin, marked by some important milestones and impactful collaborations. Together with companies, investors, and industry partners, we’ve made strides in creating a more accessible and scalable approach to receivables financing for the benefit of businesses providing access to essential services on credit.
1. Consolidating Our Position as a Receivables Financing Infrastructure Provider
Throughout the year, we introduced the advanced analytics capability on our platform and released key features to further facilitate access to finance, including a seamless onboarding profile for participating companies, which you can revisit here: ⬇️
But Bridgin is more than just the tech! This year, we also finetuned our legal infrastructure. Investors can now utilize Bridgin’s SPV as a “legal-as-a-service” solution, which allows them to gain exposure to specific assets while bypassing the need to create a dedicated SPV for each off-balance sheet transaction. With this innovation, we’re thrilled to help the industry take an additional step toward financial aggregation, which will unlock capital for small and medium companies - if you are in need of a refresh, check out the reports on financial aggregation released earlier this year by UNDP.
If that weren’t enough, we unveiled a glimpse of our technical Back-Up Servicing (BUS) solution, designed to provide investors and originators with a safety net against the disruption of payment collections during live receivables financing transactions. We know that BUS is a hot topic in the industry, and we understand its inherent complexities: this gives us even more motivation to ensure the solution we’ve developed consolidates stakeholders’ confidence into the robustness of receivables financing deals. Stay tuned for updates on how our BUS solution will support live deals in 2025!
2. Contributing to Industry Conversations
Bridgin got its very own newsletter earlier this year. We’ve been thrilled to leverage this new platform to bring contributions to key industry debates surrounding receivables financing - even more so through the contribution and collaboration with industry experts and stakeholders.
We invite you to rediscover some of our top content: ⬇️
We also participated in enriching webinars with leading organizations like GSMA and UNDP, further cementing our role as a contributor to the debates in receivables financing. We’re thrilled to have a place at the table, and to use this exposure to further tailor our solutions to the needs of the industry.
3. Strengthening Partnerships to Empower the Ecosystem
A key factor in Bridgin’s success this year could be attributed to the exciting industry partnerships we put in motion, including the one with MFR, who has joined forces with Bridgin to enhance reporting standards for Paygo Perform Reporting - enabling better data transparency and efficiency in the sector. We are proud of this collaboration, which underscores our commitment to delivering value that extends beyond receivables financing alone.
In the same spirit of strengthening partnerships, Bridgin made its debut at the the GOGLA Global Off-Grid Solar Forum & Expo, sharing a booth with our sister brand, PaygOps. The event, where our Fintech Business Lead, Manon Dubois, had the chance to share our vision for transformative finance at a panel, provided a fantastic platform to showcase our innovative approach to receivables financing and engage with stakeholders in the off-grid solar industry.
We invite you to read our takeaways from the "premier meeeting of the sector" and enjoy the after movie made by PaygOps. ⬇️
Shaping the course ahead
As we close this transformative year, it’s clear that Bridgin has solidified its role as a driving force in receivables financing, blending innovation, collaboration, and thought leadership to empower businesses and investors alike.
The year ahead looks even more promising than the one we leave behind. In 2025, we will be excited to be collaborating with great partners on fantastic projects which we hope will deliver tangible impact on the ground. Stay tuned!
As always, investors willing to either participate in receivables transactions leveraging our legal-as-service solution, need Back-Up Servicing on their deals or want to leverage powerful data analytics, feel free to reach out. Likewise, companies looking to raise cash over assets, contact us. Let’s transform impact finance together.
